This free\, family-friendly event promises a full day of great wine\, live music\, delicious food and plenty of fun for all ages! \nA Day Full of Flavor & Festivities \nThe winery doors open at 10 a.m.\, kicking off a day of wine tastings featuring more than 30 handcrafted vineyard and orchard wines. Guests can purchase wine in the tasting room and enjoy it right on-site\, whether in the cozy indoor seating\, at picnic tables outside\, under the big event tent or on the winery’s scenic patio. \nFor those looking to take home a taste of Big Creek Winery\, bottles will be available for purchase\, with multi-bottle discounts offered. Don’t forget to browse the selection of wine gifts\, shirts\, hats\, wine totes and souvenirs. \nLive Music All Day \nEnjoy fantastic live performances throughout the day\, with singer-songwriter Ema Wilbanks performing from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and beach rocker Ian Nelson entertaining from 2 – 4:30 p.m.. The evening wraps up with a high-energy performance from country music star Shelby Lee Lowe\, taking the stage from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. \nDelicious Eats & Family Fun \nGuests can indulge in mouthwatering meals from two popular food trucks\, Two Dames with Dawgs and Good News Food. Prefer to bring your own picnic? No problem! Outside food is welcome. DESCRIPTION:Big Creek Winery is proud to welcome Ian Nelson to the stage for Spring Jam 2025 on Saturday\, May 10 from 2– 4:30 p.m.\, and we can’t wait for you to hear his story — and his soul-stirring sound. \nBorn in Indianapolis and raised in Hayden\, Alabama\, music has always been part of Ian’s heartbeat. Inspired by his father’s voice and guitar\, Ian started performing young\, fronting a high school band called Auction 45. Life took him in a different direction for a time\, but the music never left him. \nA gift from his wife Mary — a guitar in 2012 — sparked a new chapter\, and by 2020 Ian began sharing his music on social media. In 2022\, he took the stage in St. Petersburg\, Florida\, for his first live performance in more than 15 years. From there\, the momentum soared. By 2023\, Ian was playing full-time\, lighting up venues and opening for major acts across the Southeast. \nIn 2024\, Ian faced the heartbreaking loss of his father. Returning to Alabama to be closer to family\, Ian now plays with a renewed sense of purpose.
