Mark your calendars for a special evening of music at Big Creek Winery on September 14, from 6-9 p.m. featuring the talented musicians who perform as part of Harwell, Stone & the Extra Credits. This group, known for its diverse repertoire, promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for the community.
Their performances span a variety of genres, including pop, show tunes, rock, easy listening, bluegrass, blues, Southern rock, country, and more. This eclectic mix ensures that there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Harwell, Stone & the Extra Credits is composed of Desiree Stone, Campus Mental Health Counselor and Professor at The University of Tennessee Southern, and Brant Harwell, a Professor of English at The University of Tennessee Southern. They are joined by a dynamic ensemble of musicians and singers, including current students and aspiring students from University of Tennessee Southern and the community.
Big Creek Winery is excited to host this free event, open to the entire community. Visitors are encouraged to bring their picnics, blankets, friends and families to enjoy the music under the southern summer stars. Children are welcome, making this a perfect family outing. Additionally, the Good News Food truck will be onsite for those who prefer not to bring their own picnic.
For those 21 and older, wine tastings and cold bottles of wine will be available to enhance the evening. Try our Firehawk that is crafted in Giles County with the 19th-century hybrid Chambourcin grape and aged in oak bourbon barrels from some of the South’s most venerable distilleries. The Firehawk is mascot for UT Southern, a campus of the University of Tennessee located in Pulaski, Tennessee, home of Big Creek Winery.
